Today Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. announced the rerelease of Zone of Enders in HD October 30th. This new expansion will be available for both the PlayStation 3 entertainment system and the Xbox 360 entertainment and video game system.
A demo of Metal Gear Rising: Revengenace will come as an added bonus; marking the first time consumers will be able to play the much anticipated release, and experience it’s thrilling “enemy decapitating” action first hand right at home.
The project will be developed by Kojima Productions. Many fan favorites will be present from both Zone of Enders and the European special edition of the sequel Zone of Ender: The 2nd Runner; making this the first time both game would be ready in fully re-mastered HD in the United States.
Set in a futuristic world, Hideo Kojima presents an addictive story alongside many exciting robot battles. Players will experience first-hand thrilling robot combat going beyond the limits of the possible. The robots hold many unique powers such as being able to release a whirlwind of blade strikes and blast guns from far distances. These duels take place in free open air setting a sense of “boundless expectations” for the gamer to enjoy.
Famous animation studio, Sunrise, will present a brand new opening animation that introduces the player to the Zones of Enders world, and setting the field for what’s to come. The rerelease will also feature a fully, newly rendered of the original opening animations from the original games.
Konami has also publicized that new installment of the game is being worked, and is in early prototype phrased. Until then fans of the series will be able to enjoy Konami's Zone of Enders in HD for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox entertainment system October 30, 2012.
