LEGO City Undercover Launches March 28th for the Wii U

LEGO City Undercover, developed by TT Games, will be out on March 28th for the Wii U. There will be a limited edition software bundle version of LEGO City Undercover that will include a LEGO minifigure of Chase McCain.

I guess LEGO is going with the stereotypical American action hero name. A lot of people might not know this, but in the United States there are actual human beings running around named Jack Dynamite or Laser Killer or Machinegun McGungun. We’re not the most creative people. We pretty much hit our peak with this stuff in the 80’s.

LEGO City Undercover will put players in the role of Chase McCain as he tries to arrest the villainous Rex Fury (see what I mean?).

Rex Fury is responsible for a recent LEGO crime wave, where he most likely spread those smaller LEGO pieces around and people accidentally stepped on them, which is nothing short of evil. McCain is an undercover cop, so players will get to dress up to gain special abilities as a robber or miner. Maybe he could find a costume for Rex Fury’s mother and tell Rex that she’s very disappointed in him and that he should have become a doctor.
