Mass Effect 3’s latest DLC news

Mass Effect 3’s latest DLC news

Since its release Mass Effect 3 has had its fair share of DLC, from the new endings which seem to have only annoyed fans to free multiplayer DLC and now it’s time for more DLC with Omega which according to the games producer will be double the size of their largest DLC pack.

As you may have guessed Mass Effects latest DLC will take place on Omega, a space station that was first introduced in the previous game. The plot itself revolves around Aria who was in Mass Effect 2 basically the owner of Omega whoever she was forced to run away from Omega when the Cerberus group attacked between games in a comic series called “Invasion”. The DLC will be about her taking back what she feels is rightfully hers and no they haven’t revealed if you’ll be able to sleep with her yet. The DLC itself will start after you meet Aria at the Citadel and read an e-mail she sends you and the main antagonist will be a Cerberus general called Oleg Petrovsky the man who took it from her and forced her to leave in the first place.

The DLC pack will also reveal one more new character. Her name is Nyreen and she is Mass Effects first ever female Turian and she is the leader of a mercenaries group called the Talons. Both Nyreen and Aria will have new powers like Aria’s flare biotic attack which causes an explosion that tears through armour and shields. This being a Mass Effect game there will of course be choices and my guess is that Nyreen will have the paragon options while Aria will have the renege. Mass Effect Omega will be a higher level DLC and Nyreen and Aria will be some of the most powerful characters in-game.

Mass Effect 3 Omega will be available for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It will be available on November 27th for $15 or 1200 Microsoft points.
