Reverie World Studio’s MMORTS Dawn of Fantasy is getting into the Halloween spirit by offering players an in-game Halloween themed event. Over the Halloween period, Dawn of Fantasy’s world becomes a land of eternal night and various in-game menus and music will take on a Halloween theme. In addition, as a thank you to everyone who supported them, Reverie has stated that any player who logs into Dawn of Fantasy over the Halloween period will be rewarded with a Haunter Dragon unit (a $10 USD value). The Halloween promotion will run for two weeks, ending in early November.
What’s more, Dawn of Fantasy is also getting a special holiday bundle when you purchase the game from the developer’s website. The holiday bundle will set you back $24.99 USD, but includes an additional Haunter Dragon as well as an entire Dwarvan army.
Dawn of Fantasy takes place in the land Mythador where players will build and defend their own kingdom, and then lay siege to others. The MMORTS contains both player-vs.-environment and player-vs.-player modes; with the former having plenty of story-driven objectives for players to complete. Players can choose from three different races: elves, orcs, or men; each of whom has a unique storyline and a different playstyle.
