
Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate is the expanded remake of 2010’s Monster Hunter Tri on Nintendo Wii. Already released in Japan Nintendo and Capcom announced on January 17th that international gamers can now get their hands on a copy on March 19th 2013 in North America and March
For those Wii U and 3DS owners who perhaps missed out on Monster Hunter Tri, a free to play demo has also been scheduled for release on 21st February and will be made available on the Nintendo eShop also. The demo will include one Beginner and one Advanced quest as well as giving players a selection of 12 weapons to take down Lagombi and Plesioth. 22nd in Europe. The game will be available both in stores and as a digital download via the Nintendo eShop. Prices yet to be announced.
A key new feature for Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate is the cross compatibility options available. Players will be able to transfer their game seamlessly between the
Wii U and 3DS, as well as playing with up to four players online via the Wii U or with four 3DS systems. Players can even mix and match by creating four player hunting parties with three 3DS systems and one Wii U via a local wireless connection giving players a plethora of options in which to delve into Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate. Those playing on Wii U will be able to capitalise on the systems unique game pad as the built in microphone can be used to chat with other hunting party members.
Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate is the biggest Monster Hunter experience yet and will be available across Europe on March 22nd
