EA Sports announced the squad for NBA Live 14, which includes young stars Damian Lillard of the Portland Tail Blazers, Ricky Rubio of the Minnesota Timberwolves, John Wall of the Washington Wizards, Kemba Walker of the Charlotte Bobcats and Victor Oladipo of the Orlando Magic.
These young star players have been devoting their time and skills over the past few months to help create NBA Live 14, lending their expertise to the developers to get the job done. They have been using motion capture to obtain their signature moves, head scans, facial performance and development. The players feature videos will be released along with the marketing campaign leading up to the launch of NBA Live 14, which be released on November the 19th in North America and the rest of the world on November the 22nd for the Xbox One and November the 29th for the PlayStation 4.
NBA Live 14 Executive Producer Sean O’Brien recently said “The time, access and feedback these athletes have provided has been invaluable. We’ve been able to capture signature moves and unique styles through mocap sessions, and their willingness to provide open and honest feedback has helped us do so much more with the game in year one than we ever could have achieved without them.”
These are currently the best young stars rising through the ranks of the sport and NBA Live 14 is setting a big mark for the next generation of sports gaming. It brings exciting and incredible visuals to gamers TV screens, demonstrating the power of bounceTek, which provides the most realistic dribbling and ball skills ever seen in games of its genre. 50 of the leagues top players have been included in the game with authentic signature moves giving the game a much better feel and look. There are more details to be announced in due course, including the soundtrack and a feature titled CourtQ, which connect fans to the NBA.
NBA Live 14 has been developed by EA Tiburon and is available for pre-order now on the Xbox One and PlayStation at all major retailers. It is due to be released on November the 19th for both platforms in North America and then in Europe on November the 22nd for Xbox One and November the 29th for PlayStation 4.
