New partnership brings games to Samsung TV’s through GameTree TV

Samsung teams with TransGaming Inc. to provide family friendly gaming

Today saw Samsung announce a partnership with the leading supplier of family friendly TV based games TransGaming Inc. to bring GameTreeTM TV to all Samsung Smart TV’s.

Some people may already recognise GameTree as its TransGaming way of disturbing digital copies of games on the Mac (Think Steam) and it recently added The Bureau: XCOM Declassified to its library.

GameTreeGameTreeTM TV delivers some of the biggest brands and franchises that are also family friendly through an on-demanded cloud based gaming service straight into your living room and ready to play.

GameTreeTM TV is accessible through the Samsung app store and the service already has over 50 games including “Moodies”, “Sahara Classic Solitaire” and even “Monopoly” for those of you interested in destroying your family. The library of games will continue to grow throughout 2014 to continue giving your family another slightly less conventional use for your TV.

CEO & President of TransGaming Vikas Gupta has said that “We continue to build an incomparable line-up of industry leading consumer electronics partners to increase our Smart TV audience to a globally massive size,”

About Samsung he said that “Partnering with Samsung, the largest manufacturer of Smart TVs in the world, solidifies TransGaming as the default gaming solution for Smart TVs and we are excited to bring GameTree TV to millions of new consumers.”

GameTreeTM TV currently costs $10 but there is also a free to play service but it also contains in-game video-based ads as standard.
