New Splinter Cell Blacklist Wii U trailer

New Splinter Cell Blacklist Wii U trailer

It’s time for use for us to return to Ubisoft’s upcoming game Splinter Cell Blacklist with its latest trailer called the Splinter Cell Blacklist Wii U trailer which like every other Wii U based trailer is set to show off the exclusive gamepad controls.

So the gamepad is going to have plenty of uses in-game like the way that in a highly original idea you can use the gamepad for inventory management. Alright to be fair using the gamepad as your inventory makes sense but I can’t be the only one who’s starting to think that maybe developers have to use the gamepad for inventory as a default by Nintendo right?

You control the camera I assume by rotatng the gamepad like everything else
My guess is that you’ll be controling the camera by moving the gamepad like with the other gadgets.

Besides the usual inventory management you’ll also be able to use the gamepad for plenty of other uses like how you can use it to look through and control your spy camera’s or interestingly you can control your Trirotor drone by tilting the gamepad to make it turn and the drone itself can be used to take out your enemies as well as obviously scouting ahead without the risk of being detected.

But since Splinter Cell Blacklist plans to let players deal with enemies there way, the trailer seems to show that players will be able to use the “Mark and Execute” function from Conviction. The trailer demonstrates that you can mark enemies around you but it’s still not revealed if you can perform quick kills although the trailer does show him executing the people marked.

The trailer points out before it starts that there will be more uses for the gamepad then are shown in the trailer so there’s a risk that there may be too much on the gamepad and that it may end up affected the overall game but as the Splinter Cell Blacklist Wii U trailer demonstrates Ubisoft definitely seems to be trying to make the most out of the Wii U’s gamepad.

Splinter Cell Blacklist is set to be released on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and on the Wii U August 23rd.
