The nightmare continues: Killer Is Dead PC edition announced

Killer Is Dead – Nightmare Edition is set to make its way to PC on May 9th 2014.

Deep Silver have announced today that the hack and slash game released last year will be making its way to PCs later in this year.

It will be available for retail and digital download and will feature exclusive new content. Priced at just £19.99, its a safe bet this is going to fly off the shelves.

The additional content includes a new difficulty mode titled Nightmare Mode. There are only three ways enemies can be defeated in this mode, Adrenaline Burst, Dodge Burst or Head Shots, so skill and tactics are a must. However, players will not be able to use the Final Judgement Finisher to take out their opponents.

Also included is the Smooth Operator Pack, which can be unlocked after Episode 3.

The final part of the update introduces Theatre Mode, which enables players to re-watch cut-scenes and obtain extra background information on characters, which help to unravel the long and winding story after the 1st play-through.

About Killer Is Dead

This exciting experience is set in the not-so-distant future, closely resembling the world as we currently know it. It is the players job to take control of executioner Mondo Zappa, who in one hand holds a Samurai sword and in the other brandishes interchangeable weapons in an artificial arm. His mission? To track down and execute various criminals from all over the world.

Killer Is Dead PC edition is a unique experience, with exciting visuals and thrilling action, making this probably one of the best games being released on PC this year.

The title is being developed jointly by Kadokawa Games and Grasshopper Manufacture, with Suda51 adding his skills and creativity to make this really stand out.

The PC version will debut on May 9th 2014 and will be priced at a very reasonable £19.99.
