Attention aspiring mob bosses who happen to own an Xbox 360: your opportunity to conquer 1920’s Atlantic City, New Jersey is now, because Omerta: City of Gangsters will be taking over Xbox Live via Games on Demand.
Publisher Kalypso Media announced that the criminal-conquest game will immediately be available for purchase and download for £29.99GBP/ €39.99EUR on the Xbox live.
Players are tasked with taking over prohibition-era Atlantic City by “buying, building or bullying” the competition for each city block and pulling off heists in turn-based tactical combat. Players must strategically manage their business and the mob under them in a “real-time format,” as they look to gain influence over the city. Henchmen are sent out on missions to do the boss man’s dirty work, and so assassinations, getting friends out of prison, and robbing banks are commonplace – encouraged even. The game’s mechanics include cover and stealth.
Gamers will also be able to download “The Con Artist” DLC for the game, which includes a new henchman, an additional weapon, and a new district to explore.
