41 Entertainment has even given them Free TV and Pay TV rights for Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures.
Yesterday 41 Entertainment confirmed that their show Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures will start airing on French TV channels CANAL J and Gulli.
Both companies have also been awarded with the Pay TV and Free TV rights by 41 Entertainment as well and Allen Bohbot, the CEO of 41e has stated that
“We are enthusiastic to award the Pay TV and Free TV rights in France to these fine channels. We have big plans for this property in 2014 in France.”
The show itself is slated to be broadcasted later this fall. It has been planned that Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures will have 26 episodes and there are two seasons in the show.
In order to manage the local activity for the show 41 Entertainment has appointed Zodiak Kids CP Paris who has had a long history of working with both CANAL J and Gulli when it comes to kids shows.
The Senior Vice President of Zodiak Patricia de Wilde has said that
“We are very optimistic about the potential for this iconic, highly recognizable brand in France. The initial response to the brand at Kazachok was very positive and the new TV deal will be good news to all our licensing partners.”
While fall may seem like an odd time to start airing Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures in France since it’s been aired since July on Disney XD in the States, it should be pointed out that the show is actually due out a game to also be released in fall.
