Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare

New Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare DLC gets western, featuring a new level, new characters, and much more.

Fans of the third-person shooter Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare will get a taste of the Wild West with EA’s release of the new Zomboss Down DLC. The free download (with purchase of full game) will include numerous new features such as 8 new playable characters, a new map, over 200 new customization items, and brand new achievements to unlock for the XboxOne and Xbox 360. The level cap has also been raised from 20 to 30.

Zomboss Down begins with the plants blowing down Dr. Zomboss’s blimp, releasing a mass of zombies that now wander the desert, fighting through wreckage to make their way to the golf course. The course serves as a secret facility where a Cactus army is being raised, coining the name of the new map: Cactus Canyon.

Players can choose from new characters such as the Law Pea, the Archaeologist Zombie, the Wrestling Star Zombie, and the Sun Pharaoh. Players can also discover a variety of new items such as weapon upgrades, skins, accessories, tattoos and facial hair for the new characters.

Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare, while drawing from the characters of the popular mobile game, provides a refreshing take on the 2D garden-defence game. Rather than viewing the game from a top-down perspective, you are now part of the action, taking control of a single plant that you can level up by planting other plants and assaulting zombies on command with your special attack. Garden Warfare is a fast-paced, complex partner to the classic mobile game.
