One of the key features of Nvidia’s Project Shield is its ability to stream content from a high-powered rig, but it is not limited to this alone. Project Shield will also support Android apps and games giving gamers a wealth of options when on the go.

The powerful SoC Tegra 4 was announced early this year, boasting graphics 6 times faster than its predecessor the Tegra 3.
Accompanying the powerful processor is a 5 inch retina-display touch screen and the ability to play full games directly from a PC (provided the PC is running on a GeForce GTX 650 card or higher. The hardware seems to have taken a page from Microsoft’s book and used the Xbox design as creative inspiration.
