Psst, General War Released New Features and Server

Gamebox, a company that focuses on developing games that range from MMO and RTS to browser-based and free to play games has announced that they will be releasing new features and new servers for their latest MMO General War Memories.

General War is a browser-based MMO strategy game with 2.5D imaging that takes place during World War II, The game was released several months ago and since then it has amassed numerous players which is why Gamebox decided to release a new server (S6 Wilmington) and a series of updates.

A few months back, an alliance war function was added to the game with the intention of alluring new customer; The format worked better than expected and gamebox had to close the feature for several days to revamp the system. Now, the developer has announced that the popular feature is back and you can join the alliance to play “Land Rush” mode.

The developer has also included a consecutive check-in system that will offer rewards to every player who checks in. For each consecutive check-in the player will receive a reward, after 10 days of consecutive check-ins the player will reach the 10th tier; thereafter, for every check-in the player will receive all 10 rewards. Extra rewards will be granted when the consecutive check-ins  reaches 2, 5, 10, 18 or 27 in a month (server time).

Some other features that have been refurbished include:

Skills & Battle Items

  • Fixed descriptions of some skills and battle items
  • All skills of level 1 will no longer need to consume strategy book.

Balance

  • Instead of 10 gold, people who get 100 scores of Daily Task will get a strategy book which is worth 100 gold.

General war memories allows you to go back to a poignant era and visit historical battlefields where you can engage in authentic battles and raids, use several vehicles  and equipment, build your own empire and get ranked.
