Expanded A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda EX Available for Xbox 360 for $14.99
A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda originally launched on Steam in 2009 and won runner-up in Microsoft‘s Dream.Build.Play campaign, earning them a place in the Xbox Live Arcade catalog. A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda EX provides a large amount of new content to celebrate the game coming to the Xbox 360 this week. Aksys Games is pleased to announce that the game with all its new content is now available at XBLA for $14.99.
A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda EX is an action platformer with vibrant 2D graphics. It follows the story of humanity exploring the universe and encountering an alien race known as the Atzai. Together these two races build the Minos Space Station, an advanced fuel processing station. For many years, humans and the Atzai were at peace, but over time a rebel Atzai group led by Zytron arose to fight the humans. In 2094, they took control of the Minos Space Station and began implementing his “extinction agenda” for the human race. Players take control of heroes Ares and Tarus to try to stop Zytron and retake the Minos Station.

A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda EX is available through XBLA in North America, Europe (includes Australia and New Zealand), and Japan. Extinction Agenda is still available from Steam for PC gamers for $9.99. If the new version is anything like the Steam version, we can safely expect some DLC to be released for the Xbox version at some point, so be on the lookout for that announcement as well.
