Rayman Legends Launches Today in UK

Ubisoft has announced that the popular and critically acclaimed platformer from Ubisoft Montpellier, Rayman Legends Launches  today ( Friday 3oth august 2013) in the UK on Nintendo’s Wii U, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Microsoft Windows PC. It will also release later on Playstation Vita on September 13th, 2013.

Waking up from a one hundred year nap after Rayman Origins, the gang has found the world infested by the Glade of Dreams. Waking from his sleep, Rayman and his friends must set off on another thrilling adventure to restore the universe. The new game features brand new gameplay that ranges from platforming stages to new rhythm-based musical stages.

Featuring talented award-winning artists, designers, and composers returning with an advanced UbiArt engine, designed to include new gameplay mechanics. The engine also allows for advanced lighting and improved rendering to enhance the graphics from the previous game. Now a fifth player is able to join in on the fun, taking the role of Murfy exclusive to the Nintendo Wii U gamepad controller. All of the game’s various levels can be played with up to five different characters on the Nintendo Wii U.

Celebrating the launch of the game, a free app called the Rayman Legends Beatbox, gives the players the ability ti expand their game, by playing with the games soundtrack in two different modes, featuring drag and drop gameplay. The new “Legendary Mode”, contains three different songs from Rayman Legends. Each of the songs has been divided into six instrumental parts that can be chosen or deactivated. Another new mode is the “Creation mode” where players can create their own songs.

Rayman Legends Beatbox is now available as a free to download app on tablets running iOS 6 and Android 4.0.3 and web browsers at www.raymangame.com/beatbox.
