Razer Surround is the latest and greatest member of the Razer company. Razer Surround brings 7.1 virtual surround to any stereo headset that you have. With the new audio engine, Razer Surround, it takes the current generation of virtual surround to a whole new level.
The current generation of virtual sound is generally inaccurate due to different people having different ear sizes and shapes. The Razer Surround audio engine will change that fact by giving the consumer the option to calibrate their own personal settings to what they like best. Adjusting these settings will be followed by a series of listening tests, giving the gamer far greater positional sound compared to the current generation of traditional virtual audio engines. Allowing you to be a step ahead of the enemy, this 7.1 Surround sound 3D audio experience will allow you to locate your enemies in the game more easily.
The availability of Razer Surround is a complementary software add-on to the Razer Synapse 2.0 application. At anytime you can and will be able to access the settings and automatically update new to previous calibrated settings. Because of the support that the gaming community gives Razer, the Razer company is recognizing the loyalty of their fans by wavering the 19.99 USD (about 14.99 EUR) price tag for Razer Surround through December 2013. During this time frame people who sign up will be able to get a free copy of the Razer Surround audio engine. The customer will also be able to donate to Child’sPlay (www.childsplaycharity.org) for any amount they wish. If anyone signs up on and after January 1, 2014, the customer will have to pay the full price of 19.99 USD or 14.99 EU
