Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remake Releasing March 18th 2014!
Well, you waited and finally the release date for the long awaited Final Fantasy X/X-2 remake has been announced! Start saving for March 18th 2014 as the remaster will be avalable at a starting price of $39.99. With Dark Souls 2, Titanfall, MGSV and this remake, March 2014 is looking to be the most hectic month of the year in terms of game releases.
If you’ve never played it, Final Fantasy 10 was the series‘ début title on the PS2 and is considered several people’s favourite. Don’t get me wrong, the game had its flaws, the game held onto the tradition of naming the protagonist yourself which led to the fully voiced script having to never refer to him by name (which made some of the more personal and emotional cut-scenes rather funny to watch) However, the game still held up due to its great story, unique turn-based combat system and, for the time, its beautiful graphics.
The newly remastered titles will also come with the additional content “FINAL FANTASY X: Eternal Calm” and “FINAL FANTASY X-2: Last Mission” both of which were only available in the international versions of each respective game previously. A limited edition is available for pre-order and will come with a beautiful artwork of the game’s protagonists Tidus and Yuna.
