D3Publisher, have announced that Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game is now available to buy.  Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game is developed by Torus Games and is inspired by the Dreamworks animated 3D film Rise of the Guardians which released in theatres in 3D on 30th November.  Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game is now available for the Nintendo Wii, 3DS, DS, Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.  The game will also be released for Nintendo Wii U console on the 7th December.

In the Rise of Guardians: The Video Game gamers will save the hopes, beliefs and imaginations of children all over the world. The game is a family friendly multiplayer game for up to four players on consoles. Players will be put in the shoes of one of the Legendary Guardians. The guardians include: North otherwise known as Santa, Tooth, Bunnymund, Sandy and Jack Frost. Each of the characters in the game have their own set of customisable attributes that players can upgrade. These attributes are strength, speed, focus, belief, defense and energy. These skills will help the Guardians take on the evil spirit named Pitch aka Boogeyman and his infectious Nightmares.

The Guardians are also equipped with a number of never before seen spellbinding powers which including Jack Frost’s Snow Fight move which  rapid fires snowballs at your enemies. Tooth’s  ‘Tooth Chain’ ability allows gamers to link their collection of mini tooth fairies together to create a damaging chain whip. Finally Bunnymund’s Rotten Eggs attack allows players to summon eggs which charge and explode. Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game is filled with a ton of epic team attacks for gamers to help the Guardians protect the hopes, beliefs and imaginations of children around the world.

Rise of the Guardians: The Video Game is available now for the Nintendo Wii, 3DS and DS, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The game will also be released for the Wii U on the 7th of December.
