Rebellion’s World War Two themed Sniper Elite V2 offers new modes, some maps and an all new one player mission, Landwehr Canal.
Sniper Elite V2 will be offering a brand new map, as well as a new mode that will come in both individual and team varieties. Dog Tag Harvest and Team Dog Tag Harvest.
This mode requires team to confirm kills by collecting Dogtags from enemies they kill. On top of this the Neudorf Outpost map (last month’s paid single player DLC) will be available free to all players.
Sniper Elite’s new missions “Landwehr Canal” provides a brand new single-player mission and three new weapons for players to find and use.
The Landwehr Canal mission has players taking out three German generals as they convene at night in Berlin. This mission will require players to devise their own plan for taking out each general, and will provide players with a stern test of their skill, cunning and ingenuity.
The Landwehr Canal mission will also offer players the opportunity to land some very impressive long-range shots for the more daring snipers amongst you, as showcased in the trailer below with a rather impressive hit on a grenade.
In addition to this content, the pack will also offer two new popular demanded sniper rifles, the Lee Enfield Mk. III and the Japanese Type 99. If you find yourself in closer combat situations more than you would like, there is also an MP44 SMG for you to grab so you can give it your all.
