Skulls Of The Shogun Gets A Release Date

Skulls of the Shogun17-BIT announced that Skulls of the Shogun will be released on January 30th. Additionally, the game will be released on multiple platforms simultaneously, including the Xbox 360, PC, Windows Phone, and Microsoft Surface. I wish this was the standard in the industry for how titles are released. It will be 1200 Microsoft Points for the Xbox 360, $14.99 in the Windows Store for the PC/tablet, and $6.99 for the Windows Phone. “After three and a half years, Skulls of the Shogun is finally ready to be released,” said 17-BIT Founder and CEO, Jake Kazdal. “We’re ecstatic we could bring Skulls to all four of Microsoft’s platforms, and bring them all together with cross-platform functionality. We appreciate the excitement and patience by all the Skulls of the Shogun fans, and we here at 17-BIT believe the wait will be well worth it.”

Skulls of the Shogun is a unique-looking indie game. The folks behind the game describe it best, “Washed up on the shores of the afterlife, players meet and join forces with vibrant ghost-samurai warriors, magical animal-monks, and mustachioed samurai generals on the way to capture the Skulls of the Shogun…” The single-player campaign clocks in at around 15 hours, and the multiplayer allows for both local four player and online multiplayer options. It’s also a cross-platform game, allowing players to move between the different systems available for the title
