Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2 launches Halloween

Rebellion, independent UK dev, announced to gamers Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2 will launch October 31st exclusively for PC.

Rebellion teased the return to Berlin’s demon-infested world with it’s initial trailer and screenshots. Pre-orders were also kicked off for the game, providing a 20% pre-order discount on both Steam and Rebellion’s own Gamestore for the first time.

Sniper Elite: NZA2’s first trailer and screenshots provide a perspective into the game’s eery environments and welcome the series’ unique blend of Carpenter-esque soundscapes and aesthetic tones influenced by classic 80’s and slasher horror cinema.

Rebellion CEO and Creative Director Jason Kingsley explains, “the studio really wanted to play on the strengths of the original game,” which was also recently nominated for ‘Best Action Adventure’ by TIGA in their upcoming awards:

“We wanted to twist the occult horror from Nazi Zombie Army into something more nightmarish, more insane. There’s been a huge focus on making the levels more intimidating and the enemies even more grotesque and challenging. The first game really tested players’ abilities to work as a team in co-op, but also allowed solo gamers to hone their skills by multiplying the number of zombies in the campaign. Make no mistake, if you’re looking for shooter that puts your back to the wall, Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army 2 has got you covered.”
