Don’t worry it’s also been scheduled for America tomorrow
Chances are that if you’re a European console owner that you may own a PS3 which of course means that you’re well-aware that today Sony’s European side of the company is currently doing its scheduled PSN maintenance.
This of course means that starting today at 3am till tomorrow at 3pm PSN, PlayStation Store and Account Management will be completely unavailable to you although to be fair you can still play your games online.
You do realise that if your looking that this image you could just play online instead.
Now while maintaining the PSN is all well and good Sony probably should have picked a better time for it because for some reason they choose to do their PSN maintenance around the same time their due to roll out their weekly European PS Store update.
Along with being annoying for all online savvy PS3 owners with a hole burning in your pocket, be thankful if you’re not a PSN Plus subscriber because today is also supposed to be the day that ‘Instant Game Collection’ goes up which offers PSN Plus subscribers free copies of Far Cry 3, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams and Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen.
Anyone with a PS Vita subscribed to PS Plus was supposed to be able to download Street Fighter X Tekken and Touch My Katamari unless you live in the States which offers a different deal which includes Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories for those of you who can’t get enough GTA and a HD version of Ico.
While we’re mentioning the States I should also mention that their also due some PSN maintenance time tomorrow but unlike Europe theirs won’t be as long only going from 10:15 am to 4:15 pm Pacific Time and 1:15 pm to 7:15 Eastern.
