So can we use the Force to cheat ?
So it looks like it is time to milk the Star War franchise for what it is worth yet again as Zen Studios has announced that they are bringing Star Wars: Pinball to the Wii U on June 11th.
Star Wars Pinball will contain three Star Wars themed maps in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, one for everyone’s favourite minor character Boba Fett as well as a table for Star Wars: The Clone Wars so two out of three is not bad.
You will be able to choose between supporting either the Galactic Empire or the Rebel Alliance with their high scores as the entire Star Wars Pinball community fights for control over the Force somehow. Apparently whichever side is winning will change to look of the games main interface which is a nice touch.
Star Wars Pinball also has a XP system so you can move up the ranks of your chosen side, in-game challenges, score notification, Force Score as well as several multiplayer modes and friend-based Team Score leaderboards so their at least trying with the game.
The game also has Wii U gamepad support which along with allowing you to play the game on the screen instead of the TV, you can also use the bottom screen for displaying game information like scores, challenge information and the dot matrix as well as display additional scores so yeah nothing new there.
Star Wars Pinball will be released June 11th and will cost $9.99 in Europe as well as in America.
