Race against the Stig on this Xbox One release title.
BBC Worldwide released in a video on the 11th of October declaring that players would be able to race against the BBC anonymous racing celebrity; The Stig.
If you’re a fan of the decent Top Gear, not the US version. You should be aware that the Stig gets incredible times when racing on the test track. I’m sure many Forza Motorsport 5 fans are interested in Top Gear and watch it religiously and perhaps they wanted the opportunity to race against the Stig, now you can and win, but only if you’re extremely good as it’s stated that only the best can beat the Stig.
In the video below, the car which will be driven by the Stig is Holden Xbox One Racing Team car which is driven by Andy Prilaux, three time WTCC winner. The race track is at the Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales in Australia.
Duncan Gray, Top Gear’s Commercial Director at BBC Worldwide says: “Trying to beat The Stig on track has long been the petrol-fuelled dreams of Top Gear fans everywhere and whilst Jeremy and the team did not want to frustrate or embarrass gamers by putting forward the real Stig, they did help us track down a potentially more fallible relative of their tame racing driver.”
Apart from racing the Stig, there are also many ways to experience Top Gear in the actual game, such as racing on the Top Gear test track. Every corner is said to be recreated with unprecedented accuracy, which is quite the feat indeed. With a new career mode which features events and opponents which are true to each car’s heritage. If you’re a car fanatic you might know what they mean by this, career events are now organised by car genre which includes vintage cars, sport cars and exotic cars. I’m personally looking forward to the vintage cars, especially how unique and awesome they look, no other way to say it really! Additionally James, Richard and Jeremy will be able to provide their perspective through voice overs on future car events.
So if you want to test yourself against the Stig, pick up this Xbox: One exclusive on 22nd November.
