Today Bossa Studios announced that their hit game, Surgeon Simulator 2013, will support the popular Oculus Rift with the Razer Hydra. These two new additions to the already crazy game, will make the game even more exciting and crazy with the elements, that supports these two devices. Surgeon Simulator 2013, released on Steam around April 2013 for £6.99 ( priced at $10 and £10 ) was an instant hit.
The original prototype of the game, made in only 48 hours at the 2013 Global Game Jam on January 13, challenged you to complete a heart transplant with only your keyboard and mouse. The real challenge was using the hand that you controlled, it was no easy task. The combination of that and the tools your were supplied with would be a challenge to any good gamer.
The kickstart funded Oculus Rift, with developer kits already out to kickstart backers, lets you step into the game you are playing. The Oculus Rift was a big hit at E3 this year, impressing everyone with its 3D display and wide field of view. The Oculus Rift will be great paired with any game, but pairing it with Surgeon Simulator 2013 would make it a fun and enjoyable experience for all who would play it.
