
Paradox Interactive and Kerebos Expand and Update the SciFi Game.
Paradox Interactive and Kerberos Studios have announced the immediate release of Sword of the Stars II: Enhanced Edition. Sword of the Stars II: Enhanced Edition includes the game. all previously released downloadable content and as new content and improvements to the game.
Sword of the Stars II: Enhanced Edition is a science fiction strategy video game developed by Kerberos Productions. The game is the sequel to the 2006 game Sword of the Stars and is published by Paradox Interactive. Sword of the Stars II: Enhanced Edition also features the same six races as the original game along with a new enemy, the Suul’ka.
In Sword of the Stars II: Enhanced Edition gamers will once again claim their place in the galaxy. Whether they play as a human, sentient insect or a space dolphin, Keberos Productions has provided a game in which players can research, expand and dominate their own corner of the universe. Sword of the Stars II: Enhanced Edition also includes new options and an entirely new faction to enjoy.
The majority of new content in the game comes from the new expansion pack ‘End of Flesh’ which introduces a new species, the Loa. The Loa are a shape shifting artificial intelligence that can settle some of the most foreboding of landscapes. The Loa are a former slave race which now have freedom and an incentive to use their powerful and unique vessels to teach their old masters a lesson.
Existing Sword of the Stars II owners will also receive the DLC pack ‘End of Flesh’ for free upon release. This gesture is designed to show Paradox and Kerberos gratitude for their fans support.
Sword of the Stars II: Enhanced Edition has a number of new features which include:
- The new Loa race with a new drive for their ships – the Neutrino Pulse Gate.
- Over 25 new technologies including a new tech tree for cybernetics.
- 10 new weapons and attack systems.
- Expanded ship building options for all six original factions, including new Leviathan class ships.

- New random encounters and mission types.
