DYNASTY WARRIORS IS COMING TO PS3 AND XBOX360, THANK YOU TECMO KOEI EUROPE
On April 3rd, Tecmo Koei Europe announced to the world that Dynasty Warriors 8 would be coming to Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The next installment in this beloved tactical action franchise will be available on July 12th, 2013.
As always in the series, Dynasty Warriors 8 follows the stories of the kingdoms of Wei, Wu, Shu and Jin as each kingdom moves forward with historical military and political figures as they vie for control over the Three Kingdoms of China.
This sequel to the series takes it farther and has allowed numerous replay elements like multiple endings to the story, extra modes with synergies between action and game systems, making this a game that people will not be putting down any time soon. Be prepared to fight over China for quite some time to come if you get this game!
And just for you players out there who get bored of historical accuracy, Tecmo Koei Europe has allowed players to partake, to their hearts delight, an all-new “What if?” scenario mode. No news on how many of these scenarios there will be but Dynasty Warriors 8 promises that next to the story mode that takes a deeper look at the story in the Romance of the Three kingdoms these “What if?” scenarios will be something every player will enjoy.
Returning characters is always a fun thing in series of games, as it allows us players to stay connected to some of our favorite heroes. Dynasty Warriors 8 boasts a vast number of characters both new and familiar; such as, Yue Jin and Li Dian from the Wei Kingdom who make their first appearance in the series. There will be over 70 playable characters to fight as!
Dynasty Warriors 8 will be bringing over 40 completely new stages: verdant plains, desolate wastelands, sharp ravines, huge castles, and many other break-taking sites.
