DOTA 2Turtle Entertainment have announced a new premier gaming competition for Europes best, the RaidCall EMS One. will The competition  is set to determine the very best gamers in Europe in both Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2. It will also serve to help boost the consistent growth of both communities.

Over the year, both games will receive a prize pool of $312,000 US-Dollar in total. This is the highest prize pot from an independent league ever in either game. RaidCall, a company that specialise in creating a group voice messengers that is suited for both hardcore and casual gamers, becomes the title sponsor of the competition. The most entertaining competitive games will be streamed live on ESL TV, powered by ESL TV’s partner Twitch.tv, which is the leading global video platform for gamers.

The first Counter-Strike: Global Offensive cup as part of the first RaidCall EMS One season in 2013 will commence on Monday 11th February and a day later, the Dota 2 cup will also start. Each season, the best eight teams of the previous season and four national champions will compete with twelve ambitious challengers from ESL’s A-Series.

The first phase of each season will consist of four weekly online cups, followed by a group stage of four groups with four teams each. They will play a standard Round Robin tournament lay-out to determine which two teams per group will be invited to the final phase; the live event finals. The winners of the Single Elimination bracket will walk away with a chunk of a total purse of $39,000 per season per game,and the honour of being the European Champions.

Turtle Entertainment have also made the decision to include North American teams in the Dota 2 competition .. Four North-American teams will be able to join the second phase of the first season and try their hand against the best European teams and try for a spot in the live event finals.
