Prepare to see The Secret World Featured In Upcoming Movie Coming Out In Sweden.
That’s right fans of The Secret World, whether you believe it or not, your chosen MMO will soon be one of the main driving forces of the narrative of a Swedish film coming out soon “IRL”. Prepare to see the world you love on the big screen on October 25th in Sweden and soon after in other country’s.
The film casts Valter Skarsgård, son of Stellan Skarsgård who played Thor in The Avengers and…well…Thor, as Elias, a typical gaming teenager who is regularly beaten up and rejected by his peers. Elias reaches out to the people playing The Secret World and finds a friend in Scarlet who suggests they try to meet IRL or in real life.
First it was the look, the design of the game. We searched for a modern looking game. So when we first saw the photorealistic characters and locations we realized that this is it! Of course it was also great that the game was so new as well. We also needed an online game with a chat in it, so our characters could meet up and talk to each other.
The Secret World is an MMO set in the modern day world under a basic premise. What if every conspiracy theory, myth and crazed theory about who runs the world was true. This leads to some interesting gameplay that is better played you can check out the game here
