Torchlight, the DRM- free and mod enabled game is available for free at GOG.com as the 2013 #NoDRM Summer sale begins. The single player experience from Runic Games will be free until 12:59 GMT on June 20th, 2013. There are over 500 games available for over 50% off or more for two weeks, and 150 games up to 85% off in the GOG.com sale.
With much unsettling information about DRM policies at E3, GOG.com has decided to release good news to gamers who do not want to be labelled as pirates. The 2013 #NoDRM Summer Sale started off as a huge success, beginning with Torchlight (Free of DRM) now free for 48 hours following more than 500 games in the upcoming weeks. Along with the 17 day sale, GOG.com will have more than 150 games up to 85% off every day until July 5th, 2013. Today’s bundles will include all GOG’s Dungeon and Dragon’s titles, with titles such as Baldur’s gate, Neverwinter Nights, Planescape: Torment and other titles. Alan Wake and Alan Wake’s American Nightmare will also be 90% off.
Other developers and publishers and their award-winning games will also be available to alleviate gamers of the DRM policies. Companies such as EA, Activision, Atari, Ubisoft, Sqaure Enix, and Indie developers will include titles such as Legend of Grimrock, Faster than Light, Hotline Miami, Resonance, and Alan Wake. GOG will also release 11 games for the MAC, including System Shock 2 for the first time, and other famous titles such as Realms of Arkania, Nox, and MegaRace.
These games are being offered every day, so gamers will have to rush to GOG.com to not miss out on the great deals. Torchlight will be free from now until 12:59 GMT on June 20th, 2013. Each new deal starts at 13:00 GMT (14:00 London time, and 09:00 in New York) and runs until the following day. Make sure not to miss out on these amazing deals for great games.
