Kalypso Media have announced that they are releasing Tropico 4 Gold Edition. Tropico 4 Gold Edition is the city building compilation for the Xbox 360 and Windows PC. The game will include both the original Tropico 4 and its expansion ‘Modern Times’. The game is described as being a ‘Caribbean president sim’.
In Tropico 4 Gold Edtion players will be face the task of becoming president of a tiny Carribean island. As the president it will be up to gamers to build the ultimate city as either a tolerant and forgiving leader or even a power mad dictator. In Tropico 4 Gold Edition you can concentrate on a thriving economy based on farming and tourism or tourism, big business and even sweatshops. It’s completely up to the player El Presidente!
In Tropico 4 Gold Edition, players will be able to do a lot more than simply play dress up with their island-leader avatar. They will be able to craft custom back-stories, which can affect how El Presidente is perceived on the world stage. The president can be a person born with a silver spoon in his mouth or even a “woman of the people.”
