So 47 Studio’s why did you change the release date
You really have to love social media sometimes and speaking of which through Twitter 47 Studios has revealed that Minecraft PS3 Edition is ready for testing.
As 47 Studios themselves put it on Twitter “We’re hard at work getting Minecraft: PS3 Edition ready for testing just now. The other platforms & TU14 will be later”.
As you can tell with the shine, this is definetly the next-gen version.
What makes this tweet interesting was that most gamers though that the game would be a launch title for the PS4 as well as for the Vita and the PS3.
On top of that the tweet reveals that the PS4 and Xbox One Edition’s of the game have been pushed back by 47 Studios for the PS3 edition yet.
Going from what was revealed back in E3 2013 for the Xbox One version, the Xbox One version anyway of Minecraft will have bigger maps and even more multiplayer capabilities. This will most likely apply to the Sony versions of the game too although unlike the Xbox version there’s nothing for them to build onto in terms of coding so the game may take a little while to catch up.
There has been no release date revealed for any version of Minecraft yet but hey at least you’re not going to have to jump into a new console generation just to play Minecraft right.
