Developer Studio Evil announced that Syder Arcade is getting an update to improve the balance of the game. Amongst the changes are an improvement to control customization and joypad support, redesigned spawn and life systems, improved levels, and new enemies. A lot of these changes were implemented to make the game more accessible at lower difficulty settings, but if you want to go all Dark Souls with the difficulty on this game there are still “brutal challenges.” Also, you should find new ways to challenge yourself. Maybe you could try to figure out exactly how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.

Syder Arcade is also getting a soundtrack release. The soundtrack will contain 12 tracks from the game as well as three bonus tracks from 93 Steps and Gianmarco Leone. The original soundtrack for Syder Arcade is $7.99 on CD Baby and the bonus content version is available on Desura for $9.99.
The music on this soundtrack is based on the sounds of the “golden age of the Amiga.” I wonder what we’re living in the golden age of now. I mean, we have to be going through a golden age for something. My money is on frivolous lawsuits in the technology world. I mean, there has to be a case coming soon where someone claims they hold a patent on electricity, and then this whole lawsuit bubble will burst, so get your nonsensical claims in now. And for the record, I invented electricity. You all owe me big
