I’d say teleporting its way but that’s too obvious
December 12th will see the well praised PS Vita exclusive arcade shooter Velocity come to Steam and has received a full remake as well as the new title Velocity Ultra. While it was originally developed and published by Brighton’s FuturLab, Velocity Ultra is coming to PC by indie developers Curve Studio’s and published by Curve Digital who despite being set up in 2013 have already published Thomas is Alone and Lone Survivor.
Velocity Ultra sets itself apart from other arcade shooter with the ships unique ability to teleport therefor allowing Velocity Ultra to throw puzzles at you during gameplay without slowing things action down to a crawl.
On PC Velocity Ultra now runs at a smooth 60 FPS and also features an original electronic soundtrack produced by James Marsden and Joris De Man.
Everyone interested in Velocity Ultra will be glad to hear that the move to PC will still feature all the levels and secrets from the original version, it also comes supported fully by Steam with trading cards, the usual achievements and leaderboards which are perfect for a game like Velocity Ultra. Unlike the PS Vita version you can also change the controls to your preferences.
Velocity Ultra will be available on Steam from December 12th and will be priced at £6.99, €8.99 and $9.99.
