Void Rim, Desert Owl Games newest contender in the free-to-play based strategy game universe, the beta version was released on November 27th, 2012.
The closed beta has been available to certain registrants, but now everyone can create an account and join the world of Void Rim.
The mandatory phrase of the public beta is going add multi-player capabilities and smooth out the base gameplay of Void Rim. Players under the public beta will be allowed shop in the in-game store, Tech Manager (loadout customization system), and head-to-head multi-player.
Beta participants are able to use money they earn from playing matches to buy booster packs. The booster packs can be used to customize and tweak their faction loadouts, allowing players to play Void Rim that best fit their personal style.
The public beta participants will be able to stream live matches, post screenshots, and communicate freely with other members of Void Rim.
“With this beta we want the players to really push Void Rim to its limits. We want to hear what people to think about the game, so everybody is encouraged to post their opinions, thoughts, and more on our official forums,” stated Art Griffith, Desert Owl Games Co-Founder.
Until the officially release of Void Rim, players will be allowed access to beta version (excluding scheduled maintenance periods).
Currently there is no limit to amount of players who are allowed into the Void Rim public beta. Returning players who participated in the closed beta of testing will be allowed into the same accounts they used previously.
Finally, money transaction will be disabled until the official release.
