War Thunder Beta Now Open

War Thunder Beta Now Open

War Thunder, Gaijin Entertainment’s upcoming World War II air combat MMO, has entered open beta in Europe, North America, and South America.

Several weeks after open beta began in Russia, Gaijin’s Creative Director Kirill Yudintsev made this announcement: “After four years of working on War Thunder, we’re sincerely happy that we can finally present it to the gaming community all over the world.Every stage of the development, and every update, brings us closer to the goal we’ve established for War Thunder: a combat MMO so massive it’s sort of game that, until now, players could only dream about. With all of the new features recently added, we believe that War Thunder will exceed players’ expectations and that aerial combat fans and World War II buffs are in for a real treat.”

Since its closed beta test, over 600,000 players were involved in over 60 million matches recreating historically accurate World War II conflicts. Using the feedback from the millions of hours of gameplay, Gaijin has been tweaking and refining War Thunder via thousands of patches and updates. According to Gaijin, this has made the combat more realistic and exciting.

*Writer’s Opinion*

I’ve never played War Thunder, but I must say that this trailer makes the game look really intense! I think I’ll give the beta a shot to see if it lives up to what Gaijin is advertising. If any other einfogamers out there sign up, make sure to share your thoughts and opinions in the comments!
