November 22 is officially the date Ubisoft»s Watch_Dogs will hit store shelves in UK. The game will be available on PC and all major current and next-gen consoles i.e. Playstation3, Xbox 360, WiiU, Playstation 4 and most likely on the Microsoft»s, yet to be officially announced, next generation console.
Ubisoft plans to release four different versions of collector»s editions offering players extra physical and digital features and enriching their experience with the game. However, their presence has been confirmed only in UK, we»ll have to wait to see about other countries.
Main feature of Dedsec Edition will be a 23cm Aidem Pearce figurine. Besides in Collector»s box will also include artbook, soundtrack, map of Chicago, steelbook, collectible cards and a set of badges. Plus, the game will feature three single player missions — Palace Pack, Signature Shot and Breakthrough Pack — providing additional 60 minutes of gameplay.
Vigilante edition will include: collector»s box, soundtrack, protagonist»s cap and mask plus one additional single player mission — Palace Pack.
The Uplay — as the name suggests available only via Uplay website — will include exclusive steelbook and three additional single players missions as in Dedsec Edition — Palace Pack, Signature Shot and Breakthroguh Pack.
Finally, Watch_Dog»s Special Edition will feature only one additional single player mission — Breakthrough Pack.
Watch_Dogs follows the story of Aiden Pearce, a highly skilled hacker and vigilante, whose main weapon is a smartphone through, which he can control Chicago»s central operating system (ctOS) — a supercomputer storing information about Chicagos»s every citizen and controling most of city»s technology like traffic light»s, ATMs or public transportation. Game»s storyline will focus on the consequences of increasing dependence on information and technology in modern, highly-developed societies.
