
Early today it was reported by Fusible that Microsoft was victorious in its bid to obtain the domains after it had made a complaint with the National Arbitration Forum in May. Microsoft was supported in the inquiring of these domains by The Richard Law Group, who has also helped Microsoft take control of XboxPhone.com with XboxTablet.com last year. It was also noted by Fusible that Microsoft has now become the first of the companies to own the matching dotcom domain of its next-gen console.
With PlayStation4.com redirecting visitors to a Playstation focused gaming website PSX Extreme, with it being owned by Poise Media Inc. Nintendo was recently denied the ability to obtain the domain WiiU.com after they had filed a cybersquatting complaint. It has been confirmed by Microsoft that the Xbox One will be available for purchase in 21 markets starting this November, with the price of the Xbox One being set at £425, €499, and $499.
