Age Of Wulin PvP Detailed

The storm of Free-To-Play MMORPG games is not quite over. Gala Networks Europe today detailed the massive PvP system for its new game, Age of Wulin.

Age of Wulin takes place in Imperial China and revolves around the lore and practice of ancient Chinese martial arts. Players become part of a sect by choosing from the eight schools of Kung-Fu. There are no character levels to obtain, however there is a progression based leveling system which allows players to improve the skills they use most. The game includes crafting and housing elements, but the heart of Age of Wulin is centered on PvP combat.

For starters, the PVP system is part of a bigger in-game social network system where players can interact, fight, and even set bounties on one another. What’s more, with the exception of brand new players no one is safe from a PvP beat down. Anyone can fight anyone at any time. Be careful though, start trolling the world of Age of Wulin and your character may end up in jail, or worse have a bounty placed on them.

Also part of the PvP system are group and faction-based warfare, whose battles can turn out to be pretty massive; allowing up to 760 players (300 members + 80 supporters per sect) to take part in one giant conflict. When sects start to combat one other, players fight for precious rewards, such as powerful buffs that will affect all members of the winning sect.

Win an epic battle? Achievement unlocked. Age of Wulin has an in-game achievement system for PvP success. All of which can be shown off via the in-game social network system.

Age of Wulin is currently in a Closed Beta. To sign up or find more information, head over to the games website here. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
