BradyGames has just launched their official strategy guide for the latest installment of World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria. Yes everyone, there has been another WoW update, except this one is a million times better than the old one because it has pandas. Or Panda-type creatures. They can talk and they know martial arts, which makes them much cooler than real pandas. Real pandas need to get their act together. We get it, you’re endangered. Maybe if you could eat something other than bamboo all day you wouldn’t be in this situation. Look at your life, pandas. Look at your choices.
The latest strategy guide from BradyGames offers tips and tricks for beginners to World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, while also giving experienced players a thorough and detailed look at every aspect of the new title. It represents their biggest guide to date with 400 “lavishly designed” pages.
I love that a selling point of something in the modern age is the quality of the pages of the product. I remember when I bought a strategy guide for the original Pokemon. It felt like cheating, but it was fun to look at and it made Mt. Moon bearable. Those stupid Zubats drove me nuts. Nowadays, there’s this newfangled technology called the internet, where people put together elaborate wikis and walkthroughs for every game. And they do it all for free. You’d think this would put strategy guides out of business, but they know they have an edge. Those wikis have nothing on “lavishly designed” pages.
The regular edition will be £14.99, while the Limited Edition is £19.99. The Limited Edition contains some collector’s art in addition to numerous images of pre-production art. I suppose the rest of us will have to make do with the internet.
