Dungeons of Dredmor: Conquest of the Wizardlands

Get ready to drink down more alcoholic beverages in the new DLC for the indie RPG on Steam, because Conquest of the Wizardlands DLC is now available for Dungeons of Dredmor!

There was a time when RPGs were pretty simple to get into, yet having a great deal of depth to their core mechanics. These RPGs didn’t require you to have complex relationships with your companions, usually picking the right conversation path in a dialogue puzzle system so you could get some underwear snuggle action with them. Plus you didn’t have to listen as a mute protagonist to annoying teenagers with bad outfits whining about their pain and misery. These RPGs focused on throwing you into a dungeon, and seeing how long you can survive – which is exactly what Dungeons of Dredmor does. Yet this time, now you can make your own dimensional home in these dungeons with the Conquest of the Wizardlands DLC.

Conquest of the Wizardlands will add new content to every dungeon-explorers experience with new skill trees, monsters, and areas to explore. Now you can show your love with Stalin by focusing on the communism skill tree, or maybe you’re a tourist that came to Dungeons of Dredmor for the roller coasters (Hint: You should’ve taken a left at Albuquerque). Now you can explore the once mighty, drunk lords of magic’s land, where their corrupted artifacts are just waiting to be sold at Brax’s store. But be careful as there are a horde of new monsters infesting the dungeons, some that might even come right out of Diggle Hell!

Combine all the content in Conquest of the Wizardlands with previous content in Dungeons of Dredmor and your getting a lot for $3. Randomly generated dungeons and quests await you; numerous food exist from cubes of flesh to Grilled Cheese Sandwich are available to eat; and you can pick your favorite collection of skill trees to specialize in with each visit to the dungeon. Unless you want to pick random skills every time you die, if you’re a Dark Souls fan of dying a lot.
