Deadfall Adventures to have Collector’s Edition

As with many things entertainment this generation, a collector’s edition of anything seems quite standard. With Deadfall Adventures, this is no exception, as Nordic Games has confirmed last week that the game will receive both a Standard and a Collector’s Edition when it releases this November 15.

The boxed and digital PC Collector’s Edition will include: two DLC packs, one being the Allan Quatermain Revolver skin for single and multiplayer, and the other including exclusive multiplayer skins (Arab Mercenary, Arctic Quatermain and Skeleton); a DVD of the making of the movie; the original audio CD soundtrack; the artbook on disc; and the manual. The Standard Edition will include just the game and the manual.

“What we’ve added to the Collector’s Edition is a real bonus for players; they’ll be able to enjoy the prestigious produced edition that includes a wealth of content that is also great value for money,” said Reinhard Pollice, Business & Product Development Director at Nordic Games. “The game will propel players into a first person shooter with around 70% action and 30 per cent traps/riddles. We carefully balanced the pacing between action and mind work to let the story sink in properly.”

For those purchasing for the PC – beside a digital option – a boxed Steam version is available. (Just let that sink in for a bit – a BOXED Steam edition. When was the last time you were able to say you had a boxed version of a Steam game?)

The Standard Edition and Collector’s Edition will be available for £34.99 and £44.99 respectively; the Xbox 360 Standard Edition and Collector’s Edition are priced £44.99 and £54.99 respectively. If you pre-order the Standard Edition through Steam, you will automatically be upgraded to the Collector’s Edition.

As we’ve already covered here at E:info Games, the game follows Quatermain and his sidekick Agent Goodwin as they attempt to obtain the Heart of Atlantis before the Nazis and the Russians.
