MMO exclusives just got a little bit bigger with the news that developer Joymax is celebrating its eagerly awaited Knight Age Open BETA.
Joymax, a leading developer AND publisher for popular games like Digimon Masters and Silkroad are today getting down with the fans and celebrating the global BETA test known with a little bit of “Gangnam Style” flavour. The BETA is open to everyone with an internet connect and for those who are totally unsure if they should invest the time into the game can easily check out the official website and watch the step by step walkthrough of the Knight Age BETA in action.
Knight Age sees players start an epic adventure as either a Knight, Mage, Archer or Warrior as they battle dangerous forest like entities while also levelling up a number of class specific abilities along the way. The BETA follows an emotional quest as we, the heroes attempt to save a poisoned town girl from blood thirsty monsters and creatures.
Players needing a helping hand shouldn’t be worried though as Knight Age comes with a host of different types of battle companions known as ‘Pupa’. These Pupa mold to the player’s play style and how they treat their little companion, which in some ways follows the same concept as Nintendo’s popular Pokemon series.
Participating players all receive a unique Pupa, but can collect more and more along their journey, which includes the ability to raise them from the early egg stage into a full grown adult. Players can also team up with friends and create unique battle groups with their own heroes and Pupa, which will ultimately allow for a unique combination of skill sets and elemental tactics.
With classic MMO gameplay and the additional of a Pokemon style monster system, players will have an incredible amount of content to look forward to this week in the now available BETA!
