Doom 3 BFG Edition – The Lost Mission Trailer

Doom 3 BFG Edition – The Lost Mission Trailer

Welcome Doom fans! To celebrate QuakeCon 2012, a new trailer for Doom 3 BFG has been released, ‘The Lost Mission’, an extra portion of Doom 3. Lets just call it an extended cut.

Before you press play, we should advise it contains content that may not be suitable to a younger audience, as the game has been awarded an 18 certificate by PEGI.

If you have seen any horror film, you will know what to expect from this trailer, with many cuts, and ‘Ring’ like jump sequences.

“Hello, is anyone there? This is Station X. Does anyone read me? I’m a research specialist stationed in Xs’ labs. I wanted to alert someone of the disaster at Mars City. What has been unleashed across this base is an unimaginable evil. You must help me; without your help, we may all die.”

“They can only pray God will forgive me for my part in all this, and help me make things right…”

Return to Mars and face off against the forces of Hell. Suit up as the only surviving member of the Union Aerospace Corporation’s Bravo Team and discover the horrifying truth behind the unimaginable evil that has been unleashed across the planet. You are the last hope in a race to stop a full scale invasion from Hell.

The Lost Mission is an entirely new pack made for Doom 3 BFG. This pack alone if you are a fan should make it worthy of a purchase.
It is set before the Single Player campaign even begins in Doom 3, and will help answer some questions regarding what happened on Mars, adding an extra 8 levels into the mix. It should add a good few hours onto the already enhanced game, with updated visuals, 3D support, 5.1 surround sound, and some tweaked gameplay features.

The game is set to release on October 19th 2012 in Europe whether it be on PC, PS3 or Xbox 360.

Have you pre-ordered the game yet? If you have never played Doom, this is one game you should not miss!
