Dragonborn DLC Coming To Skyrim

Dragonborn DLC Coming To Skyrim

Bethesda released a new trailer for the latest DLC addition to Skyrim, Dragonborn. The DLC will be available on December 4th for the Xbox 360. Can you believe Skyrim was released a year ago? I feel like I just shook off my addiction to it a few weeks ago, and now they want to suck me back in. Well played Bethesda. No word on when it will be available for PS3 or PC players.

Sorry PS3 and PC owners. I’m sure Bethesda loves you, it’s just that they love we Xbox 360 owners more. The trailer and its contents are rated mature, so cover your eyes if you are under 18 or if you’re feeling especially young today.

The DLC that was released for Skyrim in the past (Hearthfire and Dawnstar) had some mixed reviews and left a lot of players feeling like it wasn’t worth the price tag. I was a bit underwhelmed by Hearthfire since it felt like my choices in building a home were limited.

The new Dragonborn DLC looks to change that since there is a lot going on. From the trailer, it looks like there are new locations to explore, you get to fight against a rogue Dragon Priest, and there are new enemies, including mounted enemies. There also appears to be some new armor options, which would be a nice addition since wearing the same armor all of the time can make things look a bit stale. But none of that stuff matters, because according to the trailer you get to ride a dragon. This is important, so allow me to bold it: you get to ride a dragon.

My childhood dream has been realized and I can now live happily ever after. The only other dreams I have to accomplish now are to become President and own a candy factory. Dream big, they told me.
