
More dungeon crawling action is coming to the 3DS in Europe
Since July 5th of last year Japanese gamers have been dungeon crawling their way through the dungeons of Yggdrasil with Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan and now its coming to Europe on August 30th.
Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan brings you to Tharsis and you have just arrived here seeking your fame and glory with the Explorers Guild who are tasked to reach Yggdrasil and uncover its secrets. Etrian Odyssey allows you to customise both your characters looks as well as you characters class of which there are ten available and the last one hasn’t even been named yet on the website.
Since it is on the 3DS, the developers have taken advantage of the 3DS capabilities so for the first time in this series the enemies are fully 3D and you can use the bottom touch screen to chart where you are going as well as create your own maps. As well as normal dungeons the newest entry also includes a new overworld in the sky and the enemy’s there are more powerful. Oh and there’s a dragon to deal with too and your airship is upgradable. There’s also a new casual mode available for newcomers to the series and dungeon crawlers as well. Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan will be released in Europe on August 30th and the game will also be released for download on Nintendo eShop on September 5th.
