Gamescom and the Tokyo Game Show may have passed but the fun and excitement is just starting with the upcoming PLAY EXPO event in our city of gaming, Manchester.
PLAY EXPO is bringing in a ton of awesome, never before seen content for UK bred gamers that will have you drooling for the latest games and hardware this holiday season. Some of the biggest names in the gaming business will be there and now you and your friends are going to have the chance to experience not only some of Nintendo’s latest and greatest, but also some surprises from mammoth developer/ publisher, EA.
From October 13th, the UK press and public are finally going to get their first ever UK test run of the highly anticipated WiiU gaming console. Nintendo are bringing their A game this month with a host of different triple A titles for you to experience right in the palm of your hands with their new touch controller, exclusive to the WiiU system.
The Japanese hardware developer isn’t the only exhibitor at this year’s PLAY EXPO. As mentioned EA are attending this year and will be showing off the first playable levels of their upcoming Medal of Honour: Warfighter!
If “pwning” your friends in Warfighter within the halls of the Trafford Centre is not you thing, then maybe you will want to bring the smack down on to them as Bandai Namco have also announced that they will be exhibiting the next instalment to their huge fighting franchise with ‘Tekken Tag Tournament 2’.
Speaking of competition, don’t forget that PLAY EXPO will be featuring a number of exciting competitions and tournaments to take part in. This year you will be able to take part in some huge events for even bigger prizes. Put your skills to the test in featured game tournaments for Modern Warfare 3, Gears of War 3, Super Street Fighter 4 and many, many more.
