Those of you who have been waiting for the epic conclusion to Dungeon Defenders rejoice. Trendy Entertainment announced today the release of the final chapter in the Dungeon Defenders’ four-part DLC pack. The new DLC, titled The Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards Part IV: Sky City, releases today on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade for $4.00USD and 320 Microsoft points respectively. Dungeon Defenders, and all its DLC, is also 75% off on Steam until November 1, 2012.
The DLC features a new campaign mission, the “Boss Rush” challenge mission, a new pet, and tons of new weapons and accessories. Players with all four parts of the Eternia Shards DLC will also get a bonus mission and additional content that concludes the Dungeon Defenders saga. What’s more, the DLC raises the level cap to 90 and introduces an Ultimate Loot tier. New achievements, costumes, and other secret unlocks have also been added.
Dungeon Defenders brings together the best elements of tower defense and action-RPG progression, it allows players to team up and fight across 15 unique maps, 30 challenges and four difficulty settings in all of the game’s loot-raiding, spell-casting, level-up stacking glory. Players control one of four distinct heroes in an epic bid to fight back an ancient evil. Each character comes with special functions, and players can create and customize/upgrade an armory of weapons and equipment.
