Square Enix Inc. have announced today that the Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII update includes brand new downloadable content (DLC).
The content includes four new add-on DLC, featuring a range of different costumes, shields and weapons which can be used to strengthen Lightning and customise her look in a number of different ways.
The first of the DLC is Final Fantasy Legends DLC and includes:
Final Fantasy X-2 Yuna, Final Fantasy VII Cloud and Final Fantasy VII Aerith ($9.99)
The second part is the Samurai DLC and includes:
Sohei Saviour ($2.99)
- Garb: Sohei Saviour
- Weapon: Thirteen Nights
- Shield: Fealty
Shogun ($2.99)
- Garb: Shogun
- Weapon:Thirteen Nights
- Shield: Thunderstruck
The Samurai Collection (All 7 Samurai outfits, $9.99)
- Shining Prince
- Dark Samurai
- Sohei Saviour
- Utsusemi
- Art of War
- Flower of Battle
- Shogun
Other previously released Samurai DLC are also available for $2.99 each and include Flower of Battle, Art of War, Dark Samurai, Shining Prince and Utsusemi.
Final Fantasy XIII is the thirteenth edition in the massively successful series and was released in Japan in December 2009 and Worldwide in March 2010. Winner of the Best Graphics award at the Games Radar Awards 2010, the game had sold 6.6 million copies worldwide by January 2013.
